Stephanie Dumont Memorial International Student Scholarship

We are excited to announce that GWC will be offering a $400 scholarship to an eligible new international student for the Fall 2024 semester!

Please check the eligibility and the application requirements before submitting your scholarship application. The selected recipient of the scholarship will be announced after the Fall 2024 census date.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must have:

• Applied and been admitted as a new international student (on or seeking an F-1 visa) to Golden West College for the Fall 2024 semester prior to the deadline.
• Not previously enrolled in classes at Coastline College, Golden West College, or Orange Coast College.
• Enrolled in a minimum of 12 units at Golden West College for the Fall 2024 semester and maintained enrollment through the census date.

Application Requirements

• Submit the application for Stephanie Dumont Memorial International Student Scholarship
• Record a video essay (maximum 2 minutes) that addresses the following questions.
  • Why is Golden West College the best fit for you?
  • What does leadership mean to you? How have you demonstrated leadership skills?
  • How do you plan to contribute to the college community when you are a GWC student?
